Jack Montgomery
Since moving to the north of Tenerife in 2003 I have co-written the travel guidebooks ‘Going Native in Tenerife’ and 'Real Tenerife Island Drives’ with my wife Andrea. I co-design, co-write and take photographs for Real Tenerife Island Drives website and WalkingTenerife and write features and provide photographs for Tenerife Magazine as well as inflight magazines and websites including my own personal blog about life in the real Tenerife.
I am cofounder on the travel website Buzz Trips which is aimed at people who like to have adventures, both small and grand ones, when they travel.
I've also written copy for American, Croatian and UK based travel websites and articles written under subcontract work have been published in DK guides, Frommer's guide and The Independent newspaper. I'm also currently co-blog manager for a ground breaking online travel site and have provided photographs for the Tenerife section of the travel site Simonseeks.
Apart from travel writing, I wrote movie, lifestyle and dating advice articles for the friendship website Sparkle and in what spare time I have, I enjoy exploring the recesses of mind by dabbling in a bit of poetry and short story fiction.
